AERO was established in 2006 to provide EMS support for eleven counties of North Alabama through and Alabama Department of Public Health, Office of EMS grant. Education and Pre-hospital Healthcare System oversite are two of AERO’s primary support functions.
Our Responsibilities
AERO provides EMSP continuing education, Alabama Trauma System (ATS) education, loaner equipment for agency training courses, and is responsible for regional EMR, EMT, and AEMT course oversite. We offer a wide range of services for EMS providers, EMS agencies, and hospitals in North Alabama.
