Effective immediately, all trauma system patients being routed to the Huntsville Hospital System - regardless of age - should be transported to Huntsville Main Emergency Department.

At this time, pediatric trauma system patients will not go to Huntsville Hospital Women's & Children's Emergency Department.

There is restructuring plan underway to determine which entry system-level patients will be seen at which facility.  More information will follow within the next 30 days.  Final procedures will be relayed to services and shared online.
