UPCOMING AEMT COURSE (NEW ADVANCED EMT): Northeast Alabama Community College EMS Program, Summer Semester 2012.
Classes meet Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from May 30th to August 7 from 0900-1530. Must be currently licensed as an EMT with the ADPH OEMST. Successful course completion qualifies candidates to sit for examination with NREMT.

EDUCATION OVERSIGHT: EMT & EMR Courses |
EMT & EMR STUDENTS: Before you register and pay for EMR and EMT classes taught outside a credentialed academic program, you need to make sure that course has been registered with the EMS regional office.
AGENCIES & INSTRUCTORS: ADPH rules regarding EMS Education Oversight require any EMR or EMT course be registered with the regional office. You cannot obtain course numbers for students to take National Registry unless the region has the proper paperwork on file and has processed it with the Office of EMS & Trauma. |

COURSE: Intermediate Medications & Procedures |

COURSE: Intermediate Medications & Procedures (MARCH 9th)
This is the third and final time this course has been offered in the region. It is the second make-up course. It is also an opportunity to retest the Intermediate+Advanced medications and skills State exam. This course is required of ADPH licensed EMT-Intermediates. Failure to take this course will result in licensure being reduced to a Basic scope of practice. There are no other courses being offered. Tests and paperwork must be turned in to the OEMST by March 31st. Intermediates that have not previously passed the exam will be required to sit through a DVD presentation and retest.
